Karlos Vemola suffered the first loss of his career in his UFC debut in July, suffering a decision loss to the smothering Jon Madsen at UFC 116. Now, the native of the Czech Republic will make his return in November, but he'll be dropping to the light heavyweight division, according to MMAJunkie.com.
Vemola will meet Seth Petruzelli at UFC 122 in Germany on November 13, per the report. The event will air via tape delay in the U.S. on Spike TV.
Petruzelli recently made his return to the UFC after a three year absence, though he was submitted with a nasty armbar in the second round against Ricardo Romero. He had dominated the first round before exhausting himself heading into the second.
Vemola began his career with seven straight victories before making his Octagon debut, and he had never left the first round before Madsen controlled him for three rounds at UFC 116.
UFC 122 will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Vitor Belfort and Yushin Okami.

Penick's Analysis: That's another good addition to this card, and it could provide some definite fireworks on the preliminary portion of the event. They have a good chance to see this one make it to television because it's a matchup that could very well lead to an early finish. Vemola may be better off at 205, but that's something we'll definitely find out with this fight in November.
