A welterweight tilt between two fighters looking to catapult into the title picture looks likely for September's UFC 103 event in Dallas. MMAWeekly.com reported Monday that Mike Swick and Martin Kampmann have agreed to face each other at the event, believed to be coming to the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, TX on September 19th.
Swick defeated Ben Saunders earlier this month in Germany, and at 14-2 wants to make a run at the next level of competition in the welterweight division.
Martin Kampmann is in the same spot, coming off an impressive victory himself over the final WEC Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit in April. Since losing a middleweight bout to Nate Marquardt, Kampmann has made the drop to 170 lbs a very successful one thus far.

Penick's Analysis: This is a great fight for these two to find out which one takes that next step toward being a future title contender in the UFC's welterweight division. Both have made the drop from the middleweight division in the last year and a half, and both have looked equally as impressive as the other throughout their careers. The winner of this bout will definitely make a case for being in the top 5 welterweights in the UFC.
