After confirming his participation on the UFC 119 card in September, Chris Lytle now has his opponent.
According to a report from MMAJunkie.com, Lytle will get his second rematch in a row, as he and Matt Serra have agreed to meet on the card in Lytle's hometown of Indianapolis.
The two first faced off in the finale of The Ultimate Fighter season four. "The Comeback" series of the reality show earned the winner a shot at the Welterweight Champion, Georges St. Pierre, and Serra took a split decision over Lytle in the first fight to earn the shot.
He would go on to shock St. Pierre with the upset TKO victory in the first round, leading to a spot as a coach on the Ultimate Fighter's sixth season.
Lytle has gone 7-4 in the Octagon since his loss to Lytle, all but one coming in the UFC. He's now riding a three fight win streak after defeating Matt Brown last weekend at UFC 116, including two straight submission victories.
Serra halted a two fight losing streak this February, knocking out Frank Trigg in the first round at UFC 109. He's competed sparingly over the last few years due to injuries and other factors, and lost GSP in their rematch and then Matt Hughes before the victory over Trigg.
UFC 119 is set to take place from the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 25, headlined by the heavyweight rematch between Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

Penick's Analysis: This is a great fight for this card. Lytle's been extremely active since their first meeting, while Serra obviously has not been, so that will definitely play a factor in how this fight goes down. Lytle was given the nod on one of the judges' scorecards in the first fight, and things could have been very different in the welterweight division had that fight gone differently the first time. I'm sure this is a fight Lytle has wanted back since then, and to get it in front of his hometown fans has got to just be a bonus. This is a good main card fight and good one for the fans in Indianapolis.
