Williams' MMA News Blog: Elite XC in Financial Trouble?

In the past 24 hours, Pro Elite Inc., the parent company of Elite XC and several smaller MMA groups, has canceled both an Elite XC show slated for September 20 (and scheduled to be broadcast on Showtime), as well as a Cage Rage Contenders event that was to take place in England today. This follows the poor rating the last Elite XC show pulled on CBS as well as the ousting of Gary Shaw from the company. The Cage Rage promoter says that cancellations were not related, though Zach Arnold at FightOpinion.com argues that Pro Elite's prospects do not look good regardless.
