DREAM Japan Grand Prix Finals took place at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan, and was headlined by a Featherweight Championship bout between champion Hiroyuki Takaya and challenger Kazuyuki Miyata. The event did not air on North American television. Also on the card was a Light Heavyweight Championship bout featuring Gegard Mousasi and Hiroshi Izumi.
