Rich Hansen here to cover tonight's NBCSN card live. Follow Jamie Penick's Bellator report at this link tonight, and follow along with the WSOF card right here.

- No Bas Rutten tonight!

- No Bas Rutten tonight!

- Oh. Todd Harris is here, though. Oh well. He's joined by Renzo Gracie. Keeping an open mind.

FIGHT ONE: LUCAS MONTOYA VS. OZZY DUGULUBGOV (LIGHTWEIGHT)

ROUND ONE: Kevin Mulhall is the referee for this fight. Dugulubgov is trained by Renzo Gracie. Ranzo Gracie is on the microphone as an analyst. Unbiased commentary here. What will the WSOF do next? Have a fighter manager act as promoter? Maybe book their President in a fight? Nah. Never. Montoya almost knocks Dugulubgov down with a straight left, but Dugulubgov bounced off the cage. Dugulubgov shoots and gets an easy takedown. Full guard for Dugulubgov. Montoya is doing a good job controlling posture, and Mulhall's going to stand them up pretty soon. Dugulubgov got caught in a triangle, but pulled out after a few seconds before his arm was in too much jeopardy. Dugulubgov jumps back into guard. Dugulubgov bullies Montoya into the fence, and Mulhall stands them up. Upon the standup, Montoya grabs his right arm. It's probably a broken forearm. The fight is over. Going to have to wait for the replay to see what happened there.

WINNER: Ozzy Dugulubgov by TKO (injury) at 3:39 of round one

STAR RATING: (N/A) It was actually enjoyable, but the ending makes me not want to score the fight. The pace was slow and methodical, but there was good technique and a lot of power shown tonight.

- They showed a replay of Montoya not using his right arm while Dugulubgov was on top in full guard, meaning he was fighting Dugulubgov off with one arm for a good portion of the round. Yikes.

FIGHT TWO: STEVE MOCCO VS. JULIANO CUTINHO (HEAVYWEIGHT)

ROUND ONE: Dan Mirgliota has drawn the refereeing assignment for this fight. Touch of gloves and we're off. No strikes thrown until Mocco throws a right 40 seconds in. Cutinho is flickign a few jabs, but none are landing or anything. Mocco lands a sloppy overhand right to the jaw. No steam on it, though. Mocco lands a couple more to the head, and those hit solidly. Cutinho continues to put the jab out there, if just to keep Mocco as far away as posisble. Nice body kick from Cutinho. Follows up with a left kick, slightly higher. Mocco with an overhand right and Cutinho retreats. Two minutes remain in the round. Nice leg kick from Cutinho. Mocco responds with a right hand and a takedown. Cutinho os down, and Mocco is pounding away with his left hand. Cutinho turtles up and this is going to be stopped. I said, this is going to be stopped. HEY, BIG DAN, I SAID, THIS IS GOING TO BE STOPPED! OK, the fight has been stopped. Finally.

WINNER: Steve Mocco by TKO at 4:02 of round one.

STAR RATING: (**-) Meh.

FIGHT THREE: BEN "PHOENIX JONES" FODOR VS. EMMANUEL WALO (175 LB. CATCHWEIGHT)

- Walo weighed in at 176. Kickass weighs 174.

- The satellite feed went out. All we have is audio, at AM radio quality. Picture came back as the fight began, but no audio. With Todd Harris on commentary, that's a win.

ROUND ONE: Kickass gets taken down early off a sloppy leg kick, but he uses his superpower of douchebaggery to get right back up. The evil Waloman takes Kickass down, Kickass powers up. Kickass gets slammed down again. Walo is in full guard, but has Kickass up against the cage. Walo's landing some solid rights to the titanium skull of Kickass, but Kickass eventually uses his, oh, I don't know, deathray to stand back up. And now we've lost the video, but have audio.

Remember back in the 1980s (SHUT UP, I KNOW I'M OLDER THAN YOU!!!) when this would jhappen during NFL games all the time, and we'd just get a full screen network logo? That's what we got.

And we're back with 1:45 left in the round. The evil Waloman is sitting in Kickass's full guard, doing his sinister best to drain Kickass' superpowers with his diabolically evil lay and pray machine. Fortunately Kickass's sidekick Referee-Boy intervenes and stands them both up. Walo-man is undeterred, and he plants Kickass with a solid slam to the canvas. 10-9 WaloMan

Don't worry, the schtick is over.

ROUND TWO: Walo eats a couple of haymakers to begin the round. That will certainly get his attention. Fodor is doing his best wall and stall, desperately trying to get a takedown. But WaloMan (whoops, sorry) fights it off and reverses position. Walo twists Fodor to the canvas. No action. Like, none. Fodor kind of looks for a shoulder or something, but, you know, WSOF-caliber fighters here, people. Walo shoves Fodor into the cage and lands a few elbows to the face of our dark city's last hope. Sorry. Fodor gets to his feet, but Walo has a massive strength advantage, and he can't gets his back off of the fence. There's the lateral drop takedown for Walo. 1:30 remains in this very dull, sloppy, low-level fight. Fodor lands a couple of elbows from the bottom, so Walo postures up and repositions himself back into the guard, but now his weight is distributed better. Harris is trying his best to give the round to Fodor, but, um, no. 20-18 The Joker

ROUND THREE: Fodor shoots a double, and is working hard for the takedown. Walo's shrugging him off. Fodor puts everything he has into a left hook that laughs flush, but Walo shrugged that off. Fodor has no strength. Fodor gets taken down, and there's a guillotine. Walo pops out after a few nervous seconds. Walo's on top while Fodor tries to get to his feet. He uses the cage to get back up. Fodor lands a decent knee, but Walo circles out. Walo drops down and gets a takedown, but he's gassing out. Fighters on their feet. Fodor looks for a standing guillotine, but he's to weak to pull guard heavily enough to get Walo down. Walo is so gassed. Fodor is throwing every sloppy punch he has, but it's not enough to get Walo off of him. Takedown for Walo. The sidekick stands them up after abotu 30 seconds. Fodor is relentlessly pressing forward, and walks right into a takedown. These guys are just awful. Renzo has said, "What a beautiful match," half a dozen times during this shit-show of a fight. Walo got mount, and now side control. Credit to Fodor for constantly working while Fodor is sucking wind. 10-9 Fodor. 29-28 Walo

WINNER: 29-28 on all three cards for Emmanuel Walo.

STAR RATING: (*+) It wasn't like the worst fight or anything. Sloppy MMA can be semi-entertaining. It wasn't memorable. It was totally forgettable. They both suck. Fodor has a top 1000 in his weight class ceiling. Walo has the cardio of my grandpa, and he's been gone for 15 years.

- Renzo Gracie: you make me miss Bas Rutten. Better the incompetent devil you know that the incompetent devil you don't know.

- NBCSN airs a prelim fight between Fighter A and Fighter B

FIGHT FOUR: NICK NEWELL VS. JOE CONDON (LIGHTWEIGHT)

- Well well well, what do you know. Ali got Nick Newell a fight.

ROUND ONE: Kevin Mulhall is in charge of the co-main event. Newell's left arm ends just past his elbow, but he comes out in a southpaw stance with his right hand forward. Newell follows up behind a series of punches and looks for a takedown, but Condon escapes the takedown and circles back to the middle of the cage. Right hand and a left kick from Newell, but he slipped a little and couldn't follow up. Newell flicks out several jabs and misses with a wild hook that had him slip yet again. He's looking for the KO here. nice leg kick from Condon. Very little action right now. Condon comes foward and lands a right hook. Newell's missing with a ton of haymakers. Body kick from NEwell. Newell misses with a straight right. Newel's leg kicks are the best weapon we've seen so far in the first. Newell shoots, gets the back, and throws Condon down. He has both hooks, but not enough time. 10-9 Newell

ROUND TWO: Telegraphed high kick from Newell. Hard leg kick from Newell, checked by Condon. Newell raises his arms, taunting Condon. Condon lands a kick to the ribs. That's how you respond. Newell shoots a single and grabs a clinch, but Condon breaks free with relative ease. Newell shoots in again and gets a body lock. Condon reverses and has Newell against the cage, but Newel gets Condon down and immediately takes the back. Condon spins free and gets to his feet, but Newell is still on him. Newell tries to slam condon, but Condon keeps his composure, and his balance. Newell spins to Condon's back and drags him down. Condon's back to his feet, but still in deep doo-doo here, as no one wants Nick Newel on their back. Newell transitions to a single and gets Condon down. Condon is on his hands and knees with Newel looking for his neck. Condon powers back up. Condon drops for a double, and separates with 45 seconds left. Jab from Condon lands flush. Newell looks like he's slowing down. Newell lands a single leg in the middle of the cage to end the round in guard. 20-18 Newell Newell's a superhero and all, but this fight is very poor.

ROUND THREE: Newell grans a Condon body kick, just to show that he can. Newell drops down and grabs a single leg. Newell pulls Condon to the mat, but Condon lands on top and is looking for a guillotine. It's not there, but he lands a couple big knees to the body of Newell before Newell gets back up. Condit drops his head and gets a takedown. Condon goes from side control to the back when Newell tries to get up. Condon's pounding away, Newell's trying to stand. He gets up, but still has Condon on his back. Newell gets Condon off his back and manages to separate with 2:30 remaining. Condon gets a takedown and gets Newell's back. Newell's on his feet, and gets free. 90 seconds remaining. both guys are dead on their feet. Exchange of hooks from each fighter. Newell grabs a slow kick from Condon, turns it into a single, and works to a guillotine. Condon gives the ref a thumbs up, but he's still in trouble. The fight ends with Condon stuck in a guillotine. That cost him the round, but the fight wasn't in doubt. 30-27 Newell

WINNER: Nick Newell by unanimous decision (29-28 on all cards)

STAR RATING: (**-) The Newell story is far greater than the entertainment value of fights that he can't finish. Moving on...

MAIN EVENT FIGHT FIVE: DAVE BRANCH VS. JESSE MCELLIGOTT (LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT)

ROUND ONE: Big Dan will be the referee in the main event. McElligott comes out fast, but leaves his right hand down and heats a head kick from Branch. Branch shoves McElligott into the cage and drops down for a takedown. He's got it, and lands in half-guard. Branch is picking McElligott apart in methodical manner. Full guard, but Branch is still dropping elbows to the head and fists to the ribs. McElligott is just trying to survive. Branch stayed on top and in control for more than four minutes. 10-9 Branch Had he been more aggressive, a 10-8 was there for the taking.

ROUND TWO: McElligott circles while flicking the jab. Branch evades and lands several strikes to the head and liver. McElligott is completely unimpressive in every facet of the sport, to the point where I wonder how this got sanctioned. Branch is teeing off, landing at will. Branch mercifully stops, slowly drops down, and plants McElligott on his back. This is embarrassing. Side control, straight to mount. Tackling dummies offer more resistance. Branch just put McElligott to sleep with an arm triangle. From mount.

WINNER: Dave Branch by submission

STAR RATING: N/A McElligott is the single worst fighter to ever fight on national TV.

- It was really a Von Flue choke. Branch chose to stop beating up and chose to submit him with the weakest of all chokes. I don't know which is more embarrassing for the kid.
