In his first fight since getting kicked out of the UFC following his sucker punch of Josh Koscheck at UFC 113 in May, Paul Daley picked up a victory at the Impact FC event last night in Australia.
Taking on Pride veteran Daniel Acacio, Daley opened up a cut with a vicious elbow that forced the Brazilian to quit in the third round.
In the night's main event, Pedro Rizzo broke down Ken Shamrock with a series of punches and kicks, finally dropping him to a knee and landing some more punches to force a stoppage in the first round.
In other action, Denis Kang and Paulo Filho finally faced off after being set to meet nearly four years ago in the finals of the Pride 183 lb. Grand Prix. Going to the judges scorecards in an even back and forth bout, the two fought to a split draw.
