After a short run on the somewhat fledgling CBS Sports Network, Titan Fighting Championships is heading to a new broadcast home on UFC Fight Pass.
The regional organization, which has served as a home for some fighters leaving the UFC or making their way there, will be bringing their library and future live events to the UFC's increasingly all-encompassing digital service. The announcement was officially announced by Titan COO and Alchemist MMA President Lex McMahon and Titan CEO Jeff Aronson on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani on Monday after it was heavily hinted over the weekend by McMahon posting the following on Twitter:
The first live Titan FC event on UFC Fight Pass will come in July, according to the UFC's Ant Evans on Twitter with card details coming soon.
Penick's Analysis: This is now the third smaller organization which will have live fights on the UFC Fight Pass service, following Invicta FC and Shooto Brazil. The CBS Sports Network cards didn't draw all that well, but it was a lesser watched network to begin with. Titan has featured several former UFC fighters in the last couple of years, and it's likely to continue to be the case on perhaps a larger scale with this deal.
