While the UFC continues to get flack over fighter pay, especially at the entry level, it remains significantly better than other televised promotions, with the exception of top names in Bellator at this stage. To wit, the World Series of Fighting 17 card featured a disclosed payroll of just $117,330 in Las Vegas last weekend, with $80,000 of that claimed in the main event between Jake Shields and Brian Foster.

The Nevada Athletic Commission emailed the payroll figures to MMA Torch on Tuesday, and the full list of payouts is below:

- Jake Shields: $65,000 (includes $35,000 win bonus)
- Brian Foster: $15,000

- Joe Condon: $3,000
- Johnny Nunez: $4,000

- Krasimir Mladenov: $4,000 (includes $2,000 win bonus)
- Brendan Kornberger: $2,000

- Bryson Hansen: $8,000 (includes $4,000 win bonus)
- Rudy Morales: $3,000

- Danny Davis Jr.: $4,120 (includes $2,000 win bonus)
- Adam Cella: $960

- Jordan Rinaldi: $2,000 (includes $1,000 win bonus)
- Soslan Abanokov: $1,000

- Donavon Frelow: $2,000 (includes $1,000 win bonus)
- Taylor McCorriston: $1,000

- Trey Williams: $1,500 (includes $750 win bonus)
- Jamie Point: $750
