While the UFC continues to get flack over fighter pay, especially at the entry level, it remains significantly better than other televised promotions, with the exception of top names in Bellator at this stage. To wit, the World Series of Fighting 17 card featured a disclosed payroll of just $117,330 in Las Vegas last weekend, with $80,000 of that claimed in the main event between Jake Shields and Brian Foster.
The Nevada Athletic Commission emailed the payroll figures to MMA Torch on Tuesday, and the full list of payouts is below:
