The World Series of Fighting will return to Las Vegas for their third event, as they officially announced on Tuesday that WSOF 3 will take place from The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Friday, June 14.
The event will be headlined by the welterweight bout between Jon Fitch and Josh Burkman, and several other fights were confirmed for the card on Tuesday as well. The biggest of those new fights announced is the night's co-main event, which will see kickboxer Tyrone Spong compete in his second MMA fight when he takes on the 11-2 Angel DeAnda.
"We are coming off a spectacular event showcasing some of the world's greatest mixed martial arts athletes and up-and-coming talent of the sport and are looking forward to returning to Las Vegas with another outstanding night of world-class competition in the World Series of Fighting cage on NBC Sports Network," said WSOF President Ray Sefo.
In other announced action for the card, Rolles Gracie will meet Dave Huckaba, the undefeated Justin Gaethje will take on Brian Cobb, John Gunderson will face Dan Gunderson, and Krasimir Mladenov meets Kendrick Miree.
Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday, April 19, with prices starting at just $29. The main card will air live on the NBC Sports Network.
