...OH, ONE MORE THING - PLEASE BOOKMARK US & VISIT DAILY!
By: Alex Williams, MMATorch Contributor The word is out today that Affliction's October 11 PPV show will not be taking place as scheduled. This follows several days of rumors that the company was looking for a public reason to cancel the event to conceal that it was actually being scrapped due to poor ticket sales. The card is supposedly going to be rescheduled for January.
On the heels of this news, Affliction COO Michael D. Cohen, perhaps channeling Eric Bischoff, promised an announcement in the next two weeks that would "change the world of mixed martial arts." (No word on Bill Goldberg's contract status with Elite XC.)
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
