Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia is reportedly headed towards a fight with longtime "World's Strongest Man" competitor-turned-MMA-fighter Marius Pudzianowski, according to a report from the Boston Herald.

The two are set to headline an event at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA on April 23rd, per the report, in an event promoted by Corey Fischer and Eric “Butterbean” Esch under the Korean based "Moosin" production company. This will be Pudzianowski's U.S. debut.

Fischer thinks highly of the card, which will also feature Rich Clementi, Yves Edwards and Houston Alexander, as he told the Herald, "This will be the biggest card ever done, probably in the Northeast. The UFC is coming here in August and they’re going to have a hard gate to beat. I think this fight card will be better than what they’re bringing...it’ll be on pay-per-view and shown live in Korea, Poland, Canada and about 14 other countries. This will have more viewers than (the UFC’s) show."

Penick's Analysis: Well, Sylvia's also reportedly in talks for events in March in Japan and this June with Wes Sims in Canada, but this is certainly the most interesting of all the fights out there. I'm not sure if it's interesting in a good way or not, but this is a fight that will have people talking, there's no doubt about that. Pudzianowski will only be in his second fight, and taking on a former World Champion in Sylvia doesn't seem like it makes for a very competitive fight. If Sylvia gets himself in shape for these upcoming fights and doesn't show up like he did against Ray Mercer he should be able to win these fights.
