UFC Fight Night: Silva vs Irvin drew a 2.1 rating. According to Figure 4 Weekly Online, that is "third highest amount of viewers to watch an event in UFC history."
Affliction VP Tom Atencio told MMAJunkie that the organization would like to have another event on November 8, featuring, among others, Fedor Emelianenko, Josh Barnett, Andrei Arlovski, and Aleksander Emelianenko. It has been rumored that Aleksander's CSAC-mandated preclusion from the Banned event was due to his testing positive for Hepatitis B. However, MMAJunkie claims that Aleksander's people "repeatedly stressed over the weekend that the issue was non-medical."
