MMATorch is sitting front row at the Bellator 48 Post Fight Press Conference. It should start in the next few minutes.

Bjorn Rebney hopes to be back to Mohegan Sun a lot in 2012 as the team here really knows how to put on their show. He is excited about Nazare and says that it will be a pleasure to have him in the lightweight tournament and has everyone give him a big hand.

Nazare says he is happy to be in Bellator and he thanks his coaches for support and says this is the best time for him.

Bjorn congratulates Seth Petruzelli for his highlight reel win, and Seth says he just wants to put on exciting fights.

Ricco Rodriguez thanks the commission at Mohegan Sun and Bellator and for having him. He says the commission here is great. He also says Seth is respectful and a bit unorthodox for him, and that he hopes to be back in Bellator.

Bjorn takes about how he never thought that Cole Konrad would stand with Paul Buentello for 10 minutes.

Konrad says that Mohegan Sun is his favorite venue so far, and he is glad that he could stand with a striker.

Buentello says he got what he wanted in Curran standing up, but he did not pull the trigger, and the gods were watching over Konrad. He gave Konrad his props.

Bjorn Rebney talks about Pat Curran's rise in the organization, and Curran follows by saying he is going back to the gym to keep improving and he is ready for the title fight.

Marlon Sandro seems completely devastated by the loss, and comments about he wants to return and fight for Bellator and his family again.

Bjorn is asked about how Bellator recruits such great talent, and he responds by saying it is about how do you find fighters that can fight at world class level. He is not looking for someone who will draw numbers, he wants people that can deliver in the cage.

A follow up question, Bjorn is asked what he thinks will happen with women's MMA, and he says that

Mike Chiapetta from MMAFIGHTING.com asks if Pat Curran had planned the kick or if it just happened.

Curran said his corner reminded him to look low and go high and he thanked his cousin Jeff Curran for helping him out in his corner.

Curran also reveals that he hurt his ankle with leg kicks and the head kick really hurt his ankle.

Cole Konrad was asked why he did not take a fight with a lesser fighter to get his standup in shape, and he said what's the point in doing that. You should fight the best. He thanked Pat Barry for helping him out with his stand up.

Bjorn takes about the daunting schedule Joe Warren has that could result in three consecutive titles fights. (That might be another article all together.)

Bjorn notes that Sam Kaplan put together the local card, and it was great.

When asked about the Nader Cramer fight, Bjorn does not think the stoppage was unfair.

Seth Petruzelli says he felt comfortable throwing his kicks since Ricco Rodriguez did not think he was going to take him down.

Ricco says anyone that criticizes him should try his job for day. He gave complete credit to Petruzelli, and said his striking was elusive.

Bjorn says that says that the show will have new pieces on the September 10 season premiere, and he says the UFC deal is a large scale deal and how it plays out. He is excited for the MTV2 changes coming this season.

Closing comments from Bjorn:
Bjorn loves the show, and he congratulates everyone.
