KELLER BLOG: Readers overwhelmingly don't think Brett Rogers deserves immediate rematch against Fedor, plus new Question of the Week
Among MMATorch.com readers responding to our website poll posted just last night, 63 percent say Brett Rogers should "get back in line" and earn a rematch rather than be considered at the top of the pack.
I thought Rogers was impressive enough against Fedor to be near the front of the line, but it is all dependent on who else you believe is in line for a shot against Fedor whom Strikeforce has access to. Andrei Arlovski was sitting front row, but he's been so knockout prone, despite his experience, I'm not sure I'd put his chances ahead of Rogers in a rematch.
My vote would be with the 24 percent so far who said Rogers should score one more big win to earn a rematch. Or with the 7 percent who said Rogers does deserve a rematch, but Fedor should fight someone else first.
Only 6 percent chose the other option, which is that the next fight for both Rogers and Fedor should be against one another.
VOTE IN OUR ONGOING FEDOR-ROGERS POLL (App users, please visit our website to participate and see current voting results. We hope to have working polls for our App in an upcoming upgrade.)
I'd also like to invite you to participate in our new "Question of the Week," which is three parts: (a) Which fighter who is available to Strikeforce do you think has the best chance to beat Fedo, (b) Who is your pick for a dream opponent for Fedor of all fighters no matter what their current affiliation, and (c) Who should be Brett Rogers's next opponent. Make your case for why Fedor would likely win or lose against the opponents you choose, also. Send to mmatorch@gmail.com. We will run responses in the "Torch Feedback" section this week.

"There's still a large contingent of people, that they just want to see these guys almost die, or the other guy almost die and come back, and sometimes fights are like that. Certainly they are. But sometimes you get technical masterpieces too, and to hate a beautiful, technical fight - you're not really a fight fan...
Diaz has a granite chin, possesses perhaps the best recovery in the sport, his pace and conditioning are second to none and he sets records with the volume of his punches almost every time he steps into the cage. Nick Diaz is simply designed to fight the way he fights, and not many other fighters are...
"There was a lot of poison going on around there and I'm really disappointed because we had a good thing going. It was a good thing and I think people's egos got in the way. Well, not people just Javier, his ego got in the way, and too many cameras in the gym and him trying to build himself up and his brand, his AKA brand...
