Jul 1, 2009 - 11:05:20 AM By: Jamie Penick, MMATorch Editor-in-Chief "Everybody's already counting me out. I've gotta be able to do this, and be able to do that, and I love being in that position...I don't like being in the top position. I love being counted out...Everybody knows I don't have the skill. I don't have that look. But I guarantee, and everybody knows, if I show up to fight, I'm gonna bring it...That's one of the things that makes it interesting. [Yvel] don't care, and I've been through some really tough fights and I don't care what happens. I'm going to let my hands go no matter what. Yvel's going to bring it 110 percent and I'm going to match him every step that he goes."
-Paul Buentello talks to MMAWeekly.com about being the underdog for his upcoming fight with Gilbert Yvel at Affliction: "Trilogy."
Penick's Analysis: This is going to be an absolute brawl, as it's likely neither guy will be looking to take this one to the ground. Yvel's got sick power, as he showed last weekend against Pedro Rizzo, but Buentello's no slouch in that department himself. This will be ugly, it will be brutal and it will probably be a lot of fun to watch.

But sometimes you get technical masterpieces too, and to hate a beautiful, technical fight - you're not really a fight fan...
Diaz has a granite chin, possesses perhaps the best recovery in the sport, his pace and conditioning are second to none and he sets records with the volume of his punches almost every time he steps into the cage. Nick Diaz is simply designed to fight the way he fights, and not many other fighters are...
"There was a lot of poison going on around there and I'm really disappointed because we had a good thing going. It was a good thing and I think people's egos got in the way. Well, not people just Javier, his ego got in the way, and too many cameras in the gym and him trying to build himself up and his brand, his AKA brand...
