We had a few things reaffirmed for us at UFC 118: B.J. Penn can't handle the speed (or strategy, for that matter) of Frankie Edgar, a wrestler will beat a boxer in a "fight" (as opposed to a boxing match) every time, and when you're a dual contest champion at MMATorch, your attention is too divided to successfully defend both titles. Cambo "Rambo" Nelson came into Saturday with both belts, but left with only one. He turned a small profit on his bets, and it was more than enough to hold off #1 contender "Richie" Rich Hansen, who crapped his proverbial pants by laying a goose egg on a title shot. Congrats to Mr. Nelson for retaining his betting title.

He wasn't so lucky with his predictions, going 6-4 (the same mark as nearly half of our record-setting field), but not being able to best #1 contender John Hickman, who took the strap with a 7-3 record. Congrats to our new Prediction Champion John Hickman!

Who will our champions battle at UFC 119 next month? Well, I'm glad you asked. Cambo Nelson will look to defend his Betting Title for the second time against Casey Vaccaro, who more than doubled his money with successful bets on underdogs Frankie Edgar and Greg Soto. Congrats and good luck to Mr. Vaccaro.

On the prediction side, three men separated themselves from the pack with contest-best marks of 8-2: Drew Rothstein, Jonah Goodman, and Kubi. It came down to tie-breakers, and while all three were impressive on that front, Rothstein and Goodman were tops with a whopping seven rounds/methods predicted correctly. Since they tied on the tie-breakers, both men will move on to the title fight at UFC 119 in a three way dance! Hickman vs. Rothstein vs. Goodman. Good luck gentleman. Full results below:

Performer of the night: Despite coming up just short in both pools, Kubi had the best all-around night on Saturday. He tied for the best prediction mark and more than doubled his money. Hopefully a POTN award will soften the blow.

Goat of the night: There were plenty of zeroes in the betting contest, but one stood out more than the rest. The GOTN has to go to one Rich Hansen for laying the egg in a title shot. Better luck next time Rich.
