Bellator 133: Shlemenko vs. Manhoef comes to you live tonight from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. Alexander Shlemenko will take on Melvin Manhoef and Featherweight Pat Curran will take on BJJ blackbelt Daniel Weichel. Tonight marks the return of women's division with Featherweight Julia Budd facing Gabrielle Halloway.
Fight 1 - Welterweight: Chris Honeycutt vs. Clayton MacFarlane
Round 1:
Honeycutt kicks and MacFarlane tries to catch and pushes him off. MacFarlane shoots and Honeycutt defends and sprawls and breaks with a knee that just misses MacFarlane's face. Honeycutt with a right hand. They tie up against the cage and dirty box. MacFarlane is landing some good body shots and Honeycutt returns. Honeycutt with the hip toss that gets stuffed. MacFarlane has butterfly guard and a body lock. Honeycutt is on top and landing short shots to the head. He postures and keeps landing shots while MacFarlane holds guard. MacFarlane scrambles and works his way back up, but Honeycutt gets him back down and gets his back. Honeycutt is back on top and MacFarlane has butterfly guard and the bell rings.
Round 2:
MacFarlane lands big right. Honeycutt with a strong leg kick. MacFarlane shoots out of desperation it seems. Honeycutt has his back and MacFarlane gets up. MacFarlane goes for a looping hook. Honeycutt blocks. Both are head hunting, not landing. Honeycutt gets MacFarlane down with ease. MacFarlane is going for single, but Honeycutt is sprawling and controlling. MacFarlanehas butterfly guard while he is against the cage. Honeycutt with a big knee and ground and pound. He takes his back with hooks while MacFarlane turtles. Honeycutt keeps up with elbows and elbows until the bell rings.
Round 3:
MacFarlane gets a takedown and Honeycutt works his way up the fence. MacFarlane breaks with a stiff elbow. MacFarlane misses an over hand right and shoots. Honeycutt sprawls and controls MacFarlane. He is dragging MacFarlane and gets him down. Honeycutt is in full mount. MacFarlane rolls over and Honeycutt takes his back. He flattens him out and lands shot after shot. He pounds on his liver and the ref has to stop it.

Fight 2 - Women's Featherweight: Julia Budd vs. Gabrielle Halloway
Round 1:
Budd opens with a leg kick. They tie up against the cage and it looks like Halloway almost gets on top, but they are back up. Budd gets a trip and lands on Halloway's back, and she takes the back with hooks in. Budd is still on top, but Halloway gets up. Budd repeats and Halloway gets back up.Budd with knees to the thigh. Budd with a high crotch takedown. She gets hooks in on Halloway, but Halloway spins and is on top in Budd's guard. Budd threatens with an armbar and then pushes Halloway away from the ground and gets up. Budd with a high kick to the head and Halloway blocks. She shoots and Halloway defends, and then is down, but gets right back up. Budd with a big right hand, and Budd stuffs a shot. The bell rings.
Round 2:
Budd clinches right away and gets Halloway down. Halloway cage walks and is up, but Budd is applying lots of pressure. Halloway is down again, and Budd is landing knee after knee while she has a headlock latched on. Halloway is back to her knees and Budd with the knees again. This is looking like a 10-8 round if she makes it out of this round. Halloway stands up and the knees continue. The bell rings.
Round 3:
Halloway throws Budd, but Budd threatens with various submissions. They stand up, and Budd gets back on top. Budd controls like she has been. Halloway gets up and eats a knee. Budd lands a right hook, ties up, and gets Halloway back down. This is all bud controlling until the bell rings.

Fight 3 - Featherweight: Pat Curran vs. Daniel Weichel
Round: 1
Curran kicks and Weichel catches and tries to counter. They are exchanging combos that are not really connecting. Weichel is showing a jab, but not really making it happen. Curran with an inside leg kick and Weichelcounters with a nice right hand. Curran seems unphased. Weichel pokes Curran in the eye. Action stops for about ten seconds, and they go back to it. Combos are not getting through by either. Curran with a kick to the body. Weichel is in the center stalking. Curran lands a leg kick and then a big right. Curran with kick and Weichel blocks and knocks Curran down. Curran is right back up. Weichel with a leg kick that knocks Curran down. He is up, and Weichel is moving forward with combos. Jumpng knee from Weichel.Curran with a front kick thta is caught, but Weichel lets it go. Weichel swarms landing shots to the chin, and Curran counters. The bell rings.
Round 2:
Curran pushes forward with the jab. Then a left hook. Weichel pumps his jab to back Curran up. Curran with a right hook. Both are in the pocket winging combos. Curran with a front kick. Weichel with a kick to the leg. Curran ducks under a punch and tries to get in. Leg kick from Weichel and then Curran responds. Weichel with counter right hand. He lands a kick. Weichel lands a combo. Curran moves in with nice footwork, but Weichel counters with a right hook. Curran shoots and lands a double leg. Weichel with butterfly guard. Then rubber guard. Curran gets in his half guard. Curran works ground and pound. Weichel is trying to sweep, and Curran steps over and stays on top. He goes for mount, but Weichel holds him in butterfly guard. The bell rings.
Round 3:
Curran comes in with a combo, and Weichel throws a counter right to back him up. Weichel with a right and then a left. He shoots and Curran shrugs it off. Weichel with a low kick and then shoots. Curran goes down and instantly pops back up. Curran shoots and Weichel defends. They are in the center of the cage, and Weichel shots again. Weichel defends against the cage and breaks with apunch. Weichel with a lazy shot. Curran shrugs it off. Double jab from Weichel. Curran is waiting, and Weichel with combos. Weichel shoots and gets Curran down. He gets right up. Curran shoots and works hard for a single, but Weichel stuffs and ties Curran up against the cage. He lansd a knee to Curran's shoulder. They break. They are exchanging blows almost 1-to-1 on the chin, and then shots to the body breaks that up as the wood clacks. Curran shoots as the bell rings.

Fight 4 - Middleweight: Alexander Shlemenko vs.Melvin Manhoef
Round 1:
Shlemenko shoots and Manhoef sprawls. Again, and Manhoef sprawls. Shlemenko with a kick to the head that is blocked. Manhoef steps in on a spinning back fist, and he gets tied up against the cage. They break and kick at the same time gaining nothing. Shlemenko with a spinning back kick. They ti up and Manhoef with a left to the body. Shlemenko with the knee. Shlemenko goes for a standing guillotine. They trade knees and break. Shlemenko with anohter spinning back kick. Shlemenko with a roundhouse that is blocked. Shlemenko shoots and Manhoef sprawls. he misses a big counter. Shlemenko with a spinning back fist that misses. He shoots and Manhoef shoots again. Manhoef with a big right hand that stuns Shlemenko. Jump knee from Shlemenko, and Manhoef just misses with an uppercut. He shoots and Manhoef defends. Shlemenko pushes him to the cage. The bell rings.
Round 2:
Shlemenko slips and get right up. Shlemenko with spinning back fist that misses. He shoots and Manhoef stays upright. Spinning back kick from Shlemenko. Shlemenko with a spinning back fist lands and knocks Manhoef out! He seemed to eat what as a actually a spinning forearm, and then the lights went out.
