Bellator's announcement earlier this month that they'd "signed" Kurt Angle seemed quite vague, as they announced an appearance for their fan fest this week in St. Louis but didn't clarify whether or not he'd actually be attempting to fight.

Well, it still wasn't entirely clarified on Friday night, but Angle himself has left open the possibility for him to actually take a fight in the Bellator cage.

"I'm not going to tease everybody, but there is a possibility," the 46-year-old said while appearing on Friday's Bellator 145 broadcast on Spike. "We'll see, but I'm getting my feet wet here in Bellator. I'm going to have a good time. I'm going to sit back for once in my life, relax and watch, and eventually I'll make that decision."

Angle, a former Olympic gold medalist wrestler, has spent the last 17 years in professional wrestling in varying roles, with the last nine coming with former Spike product TNA Wrestling.

Penick's Analysis: I just don't see how any commission licenses Angle to fight, nor do I see what type of opponent they could put together for him that would get approval. This isn't a mid-30s CM Punk trying to make the transition, it's a 46-year-old who has a history of serious neck injuries. I cannot see him actually stepping in a cage for a fight. It doesn't compute, and I don't think it gets sanctioned at any point in time no matter how much he's trying to tease it out as some realistic option.
