Bellator has put together a more detailed rendering of their planned setup for the September 19 "Dynamite" show, which will feature both cage fights and kickboxing bouts in a ring from Glory Kickboxing.
Check it out:
It appears they'll have two separate entrance locations for each fighting apparatus, and though the rendering shows simultaneous bouts, that won't actually be the case, as they'll alternate when it's time for the kickboxing portion of the show.
Penick's Analysis: It's going to be an interesting setup, for sure. It seems there's significant potential for some very rough sight lines from one side or another, so some fans, depending on location, are going to have a hard time seeing the fights in the cage or those in the ring. Still, it's going to be a new and wholly unique feel for an event, and it's an experiment at least worth trying out.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
