After an injury took him out of Bellator's "British Invasion" show in February, Michael "Venom" Page will return to action this July.
Bellator announced on Friday that Page will take on Rudy Bears in a welterweight bout on the Bellator 140 card on July 17.
The undefeated Page is a flashy and entertaining kickboxer who has impressed fans over his young seven-fight MMA career. Though his decision win over Nah-Shon Burrell last October wasn't up to his previous performances, his ten second Bellator debut and subsequent first round pay-per-view win over Ricky Rainey keep him as a fighter to watch.
The 36-year-old Bears returns to Bellator for the first time since September of 2012, where he lost to Page's countryman Paul Daley. Bears has won just twice in his seven Bellator appearances, though he returns to the organization having won his last two fights.
Bellator 140 will air live on Spike from the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., headlined by a Welterweight Title fight between Douglas Lima and Andrey Koreshkov.
