Bellator 139 hits the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane on June 26, and the organization on Tuesday announced that Alexander Volkov will take on Cheick Kongo in a heavyweight main event on Spike.
Kongo, who entered Bellator in 2013 after a long run in the UFC, has gone 4-2 in his six Bellator fights to date. He's looking to bounce back from a split decision loss to Muhammed Lawal in February, which snapped a two-fight winning streak.
Volkov, Bellator's former Heavyweight Champion, returned to Bellator earlier this month after two fights in his home country of Russia, and lost a split decision to Tony Johnson.
Bellator 139 will also feature former Champ Pat Curran in a bout against Goiti Yamauchi, and a fight between Dave Rickels and John Alessio.
