The bantamweight fight between former Bellator Champ Eduardo Dantas and Mike Richman, originally scheduled to take place last weekend, has officially been shifted to Bellator 137 on May 15.
Bellator announced the bout on Tuesday, along with Virgil Zwicker vs. Razak Al-Hassan, and Fernando Gonzalez vs. Curtis Millender for that night's main card, which will be headlined by a Middleweight Title bout between Brandon Halsey and Kendall Grove.
A minor injury to Richman forced the bantamweight matchup to be pushed back, but the winner will be trying to get into a title bout with new Champ Marcos Galvao.
Dantas holds a win over Galvao for that title, which he lost to Joe Warren in his last outing in October of 2014. The 26-year-old needs a big bounce back to get back into the title picture. As for Richman, the 29-year-old has won both of his fights since dropping to 135 lbs., knocking out Ed West and Nam Phan in 2014, both in the first round.
The May 15 card hits the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif., airing live on Spike TV.
