Bellator MMA filed for an injunction on Monday in a New Jersey court to keep Quinton "Rampage" Jackson from fighting at UFC 186 and compel him to finish out the final three fights on his contract.
However, because he hasn't gotten any paperwork himself, Jackson doesn't think the injunction exists.
Funny how bellator is promoting they have an injunction is against me. I never received any paperwork. There is no injunction! Just jokes!
Jackson is scheduled to fight Fabio Maldonado on the April 25 card in Canada, though his participation on that card will be determined by whether or not Bellator is granted the injunction.
Penick's Analysis: Jackson doesn't seem to understand how the process works. Just because he hasn't been served papers yet doesn't mean the request doesn't exist. Takes time for things to go through the system, so it's something he'll still have to deal with before he's able to fight at UFC 186.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
