Nam Phan's UFC run came to an end in March, following three straight losses in the organization. Since then, he's won two fights this year, and now he'll enter the Bellator cage for the first time when he takes on Mike Richman at Bellator 131.
The organization announced the bout on Friday during the Bellator 129 broadcast, and it will air live on Spike TV on Nov. 15.
Phan, who went 2-6 in eight UFC appearances after his time on The Ultimate Fighter 12, has stopped two straight opponents into his Bellator debut. As for Richman, the 29-year-old made his bantamweight debut last month, knocking out Ed West in the first round to halt a two fight losing streak from the featherweight division.
Bellator 131 takes place from San Diego on Nov. 15, headlined by the bout between Tito Ortiz and Stephan Bonnar on Spike TV.
