Bellator MMA and Spike TV are putting together a slate of original programming into next month's Bellator 131 event, focusing on the main event between Tito Ortiz and Stephan Bonnar.

First up is "Tito vs. Bonnar: Winner Take All," a half hour special pitting the two men face to face in advance of the Nov. 15 event. The special premieres on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 11PM ET, followed by "Unrivaled: Tito Ortiz," a half hour special focused on Ortiz's path to the fight.

Finally, a countdown show for the event airs on Friday, Nov. 14, at 10:30PM ET. That all leads into the event on Nov. 15, which airs live opposite WSOF 15 and UFC 180.

Penick's Analysis: While the specials could certainly help boost the number they get on Nov. 15, that also depends on how much people buy into the fight and the "feud" here in 2014. It's also more promotion for a fight between two aging veterans, while Interim Champ Will Brooks and Michael Chandler don't get featured until the countdown show the day before the event. It's sacrificing promotion of fighters who will be around longer than Nov. 15 in order to prop up the egos of two fighters whose relevance to MMA continues to wane.
