Bellator 129 comes to Council Bluffs, Iowa, next month, and they're going with a couple of Iowa natives for the night's main event.
According to a report from MMAJunkie.com, the Oct. 17 card will be headlined by a bout between Josh Neer and Paul Bradley. Additionally, the card will feature a heavyweight fight between Houston Alexander and James Thompson.
Neer and Bradley are both UFC vets who have each appeared in the Bellator cage before. In Neer's case, his first and only Bellator appearance took place in 2010, where he was submitted by Eddie Alvarez. He returned to the UFC for a stint after that from 2011-2013, and has won three straight fights since his most recent release.
As for Bradley, who fight twice in the UFC in 2011, has split his two fights in the Bellator cage thus far. He debuted last October with a win over Karl Amoussou, but fell to Nathan Coy earlier this year at Bellator 112.
Alexander makes his third appearance in Bellator as well, coming off a win over Matt Uhde in April, while Thompson looks to follow up on a win over Eric Prindle in April.
