Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal has a new opponent for next week's Bellator 123 event at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.
Former UFC middleweight Dustin Jacoby is stepping in on very short notice for the fight after a late withdrawal from Marcus Sursa.
Sursa himself was a replacement opponent, having stepped in for the injured Tom DeBlass. Now, it’s Jacoby getting a shot on Spike TV against Lawal, who hopes to rebound after a highly questionable decision loss against Quinton "Rampage" Jackson in May.
Next week's event goes up against the UFC Fight Night 50 event just miles away at Foxwoods, and will be headlined by the Featherweight Title rematch between Pat Curran and Patricio "Pitbull" Freire.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
