"I think it would be fantastic. It would be a great place to fight and put myself up against these heavyweights, some of which are considered to be the best in the world. I would like to test that theory out because I don't think some of the praise that is put on these guys is not just inherited by the organization that they fight in. For me to go over there and wreck shop and rampage all over these guys would be a lot of fun for me personally and professionally. But that's not something that's entirely in my ability to make happen, so we'll see how things turn out. We'll see if the UFC wants the services of a mercenary like myself."
-Josh Barnett talks to Strikeforce.com about potentially coming to the UFC after tonight's final Strikeforce event.
Penick's Analysis: I think Barnett will wind up in the UFC. Despite his sketchy past, and at times a very poor relationship with UFC President Dana White, I think he's made nice enough with them to get a shot once tonight's final event is in the books. He's still one of the top heavyweights in the world, and he'd probably beat more fighters than he'd lose to in the UFC's heavyweight field, so he'd be a beneficial addition to the organization in that respect. Ultimately, he needs to defeat Nandor Guelmino as he's expected to, and then he'll probably join several of his other Strikeforce colleagues inside the Octagon.
