Lorenz Larkin missed out on a fight against the current Strikeforce Middleweight Champion on January 12 with Luke Rockhold not yet recovered from a wrist injury, but he'll now take on the man Rockhold took the belt from.
Strikeforce announced on Thursday that Larkin will now meet Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza on the Showtime event in Oklahoma City.
In addition to that fight, they updated the card's lineup with several other reported or rumored fights for the event, which now has eight confirmed fights. In addition to Larkin-Jacare, Pat Healy remains on the card against Jorge Masvidal, Roger Gracie takes on Anthony Smith, and KJ Noons meets Ryan Couture.
The card will take place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, airing live on Showtime. The full card as it stands is below:
