Lashley was said to be "extremely dehydrated" after his fight against Chad Griggs on the "Showtime: Houston" fight card. At the hospital, Lashley was treated with multiple IV bags to pump fluids back into his system. Shortly after his loss to Griggs, Lashley left the Toyota Center on a stretcher. He was taken to a local hospital where it was believed that he was being treated for a severe laceration around his left eye. "Bobby Lashley actually went to the hospital and I think he went to get his eye stitched up," Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker said at the post-show press conference when asked about Lashley's status. As we've written about in the post-fight coverage, Coker also suggested Lashley's MMA future is in question, with Lashley needing to do some "soul-searching" on whether he wants to continue fighting. "We're going to talk to Lashley later and he'll have to do some soul-searching to really decide what he wants to do.
