THE TORCH: THE #1 WORLDWIDE BRAND IN COMBAT ENTERTAINMENT COVERAGE - OVER 250 MILLION VIEWS & LISTENS PER YEAR REREACHING MORE FANS EVERY WEEK THAN ANY OTHER INDEPENDENT SOURCE • VIA THE WEB, MOBILE, PRINT NEWSLETTER, AND ITUNES
May 30, 2008 - 9:50:03 AM By Jamie Penick, MMATorch Editor-in-Chief The next chapter for MMATorch is about to begin. As the new editor here, I have been working with the contributors on ideas to bring more content to you, our loyal readers. That all starts here this weekend, with coverage on both the Elite XC show on Saturday and the big WEC show on Sunday. Expect coverage on both shows in multiple formats, including audio roundtables on both.
In addition to more content from our hard working contributors, you will notice much more in terms of news updates and general information from myself, as well as content from me on a weekly basis. That content will begin later today with the first in a new series of DVD reviews. This series will at first cover UFC DVDs from 2007 and then will move on into more classic shows and promotions. We hope that you'll all enjoy the more frequently updated content and new features that we will unveil over this summer, and there's still time to join in on the writing side if you feel you've got something to bring to this site! Just send me an email with your ideas or your interest at mmatorcheditor@gmail.com. We're excited to bring this all to you, and we hope that you'll all enjoy the new and improved MMATorch.com.

But sometimes you get technical masterpieces too, and to hate a beautiful, technical fight - you're not really a fight fan...
Diaz has a granite chin, possesses perhaps the best recovery in the sport, his pace and conditioning are second to none and he sets records with the volume of his punches almost every time he steps into the cage. Nick Diaz is simply designed to fight the way he fights, and not many other fighters are...
"There was a lot of poison going on around there and I'm really disappointed because we had a good thing going. It was a good thing and I think people's egos got in the way. Well, not people just Javier, his ego got in the way, and too many cameras in the gym and him trying to build himself up and his brand, his AKA brand...
