Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help contribute on a regular basis to MMATorch. We are going through the 100+ emails in coming days and, as best we can, select a first round of people to be contacted for various ideas we have. Please be patient if we don't get to you right away, and also understand there is a level of arbitrariness to whom we're choosing to contact because we have been overwhelmed with volunteers. That said, we encourage anyone to participate in helping with content in the following ways, whether you're an official staff contributor at the time or not:
-Send Guest Editorials on a subject in the news.
-Send Reader Reax after any major fight cards or TV shows such as The Ultimate Fighter.
-Participate on our message board in discussions on current events.
-Vote in polls and answer our periodic "Question of the Day" features.
We will be in touch soon with many of you as we have many ideas on how to amp up our site's content, and the quality of knowledge and background many of you have makes us all confident here at MMATorch that we will have a strengthened staff and more high-quality content in coming days and weeks!
Thanks so much for everyone's support and your generous offers to help make MMATorch even better!

"There's still a large contingent of people, that they just want to see these guys almost die, or the other guy almost die and come back, and sometimes fights are like that. Certainly they are. But sometimes you get technical masterpieces too, and to hate a beautiful, technical fight - you're not really a fight fan...

Nick Diaz is simply designed to fight the way he fights, and not many other fighters are...
"There was a lot of poison going on around there and I'm really disappointed because we had a good thing going. It was a good thing and I think people's egos got in the way. Well, not people just Javier, his ego got in the way, and too many cameras in the gym and him trying to build himself up and his brand, his AKA brand...
