PELKEY BLOG: The case of the missing column

I know I promised to have a column up today, and I would have, if it
weren't for the computer gods being totally against me. I was typing
the column up on the article manager, when, after one of my many
mistakes, I hit backspace. Instead of erasing the last letter I typed,
it took me to the last page I visited. When I clicked the "forward"
arrow it took me back to the article manager, only the page was blank.
Near tears, I decided to simply type this up to keep up my vow to post
something each day this week (its still before midnight, CST). The
column will be up tomorrow, as I recreate the magic (tragedy) in my
head.
I just want everyone to know that I'll be doing it while I watch my
beloved Hawks continue their march toward SHOCKING THE WORLD! against
the Celtics in game 5, so I can't vouch for the quality of the piece.
Ok, gotta be up in a few hours. Goodnight all.
